Grimbeorn has demanded that if you and Gandalf are to stay at the Beorninghús, you must work for your keep.
'I will allow you to stay, for I know the dangers that lie beyond my walls and I will not make you face them alone. But I do not give you this lodging for free. It will cost you nothing in coin; rather, the price will be the sweat of your brow. Many are the tasks that need doing, and in return for a safe place to stay you will see them done. Do you agree?
'Very good. The road through my lands has become choked in some places with brush. Clear four patches of brush, and you will have made a start on opening the way. We always have need of flint and firewood. Gather four suitable logs and search patches of soil until you find three pieces of flint. Orcs and wargs have been troubling my family ever since my sire came down from the mountains. Slay four Orcs and three wargs, and let them know that these lands are not safe for them!
'That will be a start, ${PLAYER}. That is my price. Speak to Gandalf and learn if he appreciates this favour!'
Gandalf wishes to speak with you. The Wizard stands near the entrance to the Beorninghús.
Grimbeorn has tasked you with a number of errands to undertake in the Beorning-lands, and Gandalf has helpfully doubled the required quantities of each.
Grimbeorn is at the Beorninghús, in the Beorning-lands.
