Farming creates some finished goods, but much of their output takes the form of crops, flowers, and other ingredients that Cooks and Scholars need to ply their own crafts.
Be careful! You will need to complete the correct recipes and deliver the correct items outlined in this quest.
You will need to execute the yellow onion field and yellow onion recipes and deliver the yellow onion. Failing to do so will force you to obtain new raw materials or to restart the quest after a 24-hour delay.
'If you wish to learn more about farming, find Bruno Ervinen by the fields. He is a guest from one of the nearby hobbit villages, and is more familiar with these soils than we are. I am sure he would be happy to teach you.

You should speak with the Novice Farmhand to learn more about farming and set yourself on a path to good eating.
The Novice Farmhand provided you with a crate full of ingredients that you can use to grow the yellow onion. Open the crate to get the ingredients.
Ingredients for Farmers are normally purchased from vendors or discovered while farming. You can also find ingredients on the Auction Hall.
The Novice Farmhand provided you with the ingredients necessary to create a crop of yellow onions. First, however, you must plant your yellow onion field.
To open your crafting panel, you can use the 'T' key or click on the crafting button (it looks like a hammer and anvil) in the lower left part of your UI.
Select the Farming tab in the craft UI and find the proper recipe.
Remember: In order to execute a recipe, you must be near the proper facility. Farming requires a farmland.
The Novice Farmhand provided you with the ingredients necessary to grow yellow onions. You must now harvest your yellow onion field and obtain a fair yellow onion crop. To find the field, activate the Track Crops skill.
You have harvested your field, and you are now ready to pick the yellow onion, as instructed by the Novice Farmhand. Make your way to a nearby workbench to pick through your crops.
The recipe is complete. Do not cook or sell the yellow onion! It is time to show your handiwork to your mentor, the Novice Farmhand.
