Reclaiming the Gap

Ages ago, a great sundering shook loose the ceiling of this massive cavern. Once opened to the sky, Clovengap became an emerald swath of tiered gardens, unique among the dwarves. Gone now are those gardens, replaced by dark forests and thick mists, in which prowl those with murderous intent.

'At one time, orchards, farms, and vineyards filled these terraces. Now they lie fallow, forests of fruitless trees filled with feral creatures.

'To the north of this camp, Warg dens litter the tiers. The creatures impede our ability to move forward. Do what you can to thin their ranks, my friend. We will reclaim these gardens!'
