Hithril of the Elves of Lórien is concerned about the shadowy waters that surround the sunken ruins of Kidzul-kâlah.
'The dredging machines stand like forgotten hulks in the Gladden Fields, idle now, but not always. Once there was a time when they sifted soil and mud, and drew weapons and armour-pieces from long ago to light. Someone or something has taken these unearthed treasures into Kidzul-kâlah, whether for grave robbery or some other purpose I cannot say. But if that purpose be foul, as I think it must, they should be found and destroyed.'
Weapons taken from the Gladden Fields into Kidzul-kâlah should be destroyed before they can be used for some foul purpose.
