'Scouts were sent throughout Gorgoroth so that Gondor will be well-informed on the situation in the Black Land, and they send back reports every few days. One of these scouts, Fairdal, is not as reliable at sending his reports, and we have had to send adventurers into Lhingris from time to time in order to check on him.

'Defeat enemies in Lhingris, and after you have done that, find him north of the cross-roads east of Cirith Ungol, in Rath Cail. Make sure he still lives. Then hear his report and bring it back to me, and we can decide what should next be done.'
