A note hangs from the board, signed by Mulnír:

'Dwarves have been seen entering Anglach with a host of Orcs and goblins. They must be loyal to the Captain of the Pit, and are surely aiding in the re-building of his war machine. I need someone to enter the foundry and defeat their leaders. Seek out Candúr at the Udûn Foothold for passage into Anglach.'
