To participate in the defence, open the Epic Battles Panel and select 'Hammer of the Underworld' from the menu. After you successfully complete the defence, you will be returned to the location from which you entered it.

Mithrandir is in the besieged city, at the south-eastern area of the Second Circle.

Minas Tirith is besieged! You may examine the model of the city in the Dome of the Sun to travel between states of the city.
