Haradrim sashes should be collected and brought to Thurindol as proof that you have completed your mission to disrupt the enemy gathered at Harlanc.
You need some way to show the Rangers that you've completed your mission to disrupt the Haradrim at Harlanc. You've noticed that Haradrim always wear brightly coloured sashes. Perhaps returning to Thurindol with these sashes will convince him of your heroics.
