Concerned by the emergence of the Dead in Blackroot Vale, Sarnir has asked you to investigate how far their influence has grown.

'This unsettles me greatly, ${PLAYER}.

'The Dead have never ventured so far from the hill before, and I fear this is only the beginning of our troubles with them. I do not know what that cursed lot hope to accomplish, but I doubt it a boon to our people.

'If you are passing through to Sardol as you said, please speak to my sister, Mellien, of the Dead. I can only hope they have not wandered so far away from their paths, or I fear something far worse than Orcs will befall the vale.'

Mellien can be found in Sardol, to the south-west of Alagrant in Blackroot Vale.

Sarnir is concerned that the Dead's influence might extend to the south and has asked you to aid the people of Sardol.
