'The salmon have begun their yearly run. They are making their way up the rivers, from Edhellond to beyond Calembel, pushing to the White Mountains where they will spawn in the gravel shallows.

'Salmon make up a great deal of our foodstocks for the long winters. When they head up the rivers we must take advantage and catch as many as we can.

'Head north-east to Calembel, within Lamedon, and do your best to catch some salmon. You will need to stay on your toes, with the running they will not be in any one location for long. Look for where the fish are jumping and the water is rolling and disturbed.'
