Protecting the Gate-house
The central gate-house of the Hornburg is being assaulted by a large battering ram. The enemy has made an aggressive move to attempt to penetrate the central entrance and if successful will make it near impossible for the Rohirrim to hold against multiple fronts.
Merit Rating
This quest starts with Partial Merit Rating.
Major Merit Gain:
* Battering ram damaged
Major Merit Loss:
* Door is structurally damaged
* Rohirrim engineer is defeated
* Gate-house guard is defeated
The gate-house at the entrance to the Hornburg must be held and fortified, lest the enemy take hold and create an easy entry point for their assault. The Rohirrim will help hold off the attacking Orcs, but the enemy will not cease while their battering ram still stands.
