Ecglaf spied a camp-fire at Balewood's edge not long after Byre Tor was taken over.
'If you are in a rush to get under those trees, I saw a camp-fire just to the south-west not long ago, shortly after the sacking of Byre Tor. Not a good sign, for folk to flee under the roof of those trees.
'Balewood is haunted, you see. Those people need help, if you ask me, but none are brave enough to venture there.'
The camp-fire under the trees was spotted south-west from the Lonely Height.
You should find the owners of the camp-fire, for they are probably refugees from Byre Tor.
