The Ent is perfectly still, but its eyes are open. You could swear that this one has an angry red gleam in his greenish eyes...or perhaps a flare of panic. It is hard to tell when his outward behaviour is so still.

You smell smoke here and see the orange glow of fire. It is not hard to guess why this Ent may be angry.
