Brifard is worried that the wolves have acquired a taste for Man-flesh.
'I know not why these wolves have taken to preying on our men, but it must be stopped. Everyone must be kept safe, and more importantly, I cannot return to Stangard with more blood on my hands.
'Their den is to the east along the shore of the Great River. May fortune be with you... I desire not to explain another loss.'
Brifard has advised you to hunt down wolves in the nearby wolf-den to the north-east. This particular wolf-den has been nicknamed 'The Murderous Pit' by the Rohirrim of Stangard.
Brifard wants you to cull the wolf-pack in response to their violence.
