Following the rout at Brôntrig, Ardwyn proposes shifting his forces' focus in the Isendale.

Stage 1

'With our defeat at Brôntrig, we must refocus our efforts in the Isendale. The army at Wulf's Cleft is growing stronger with every passing day, and we must now turn our attention to weakening that force.

'Garrun, another of my scouts, has encamped near Wulf's Cleft to observe their muster and report on their movements. You should join him there and lend him what aid you may.

'Journey due west into the valleys until you reach the cliff face north of Cuvnerth, another village of the Dunlendings.'

Garrun is encamped against a cliff face far to the west of Forthbrond, north of Cuvnerth.

Ardwyn has asked you to seek out the scout Garrun at the western edge of the Isendale and lend him your aid.
